The 2024 OTN Symposium is now open for registration!
To register, you must complete the registration form and purchase a ticket via Eventbrite. Tickets are $100 CAD each and will help cover symposium-related expenses. Registration closes on June 30, 2024.

Taking place at the Halifax Convention Centre, the symposium will begin on the evening of Sept. 23, with two full days of presentations and panel discussions from Sept. 24-25, followed by an early career researcher workshop on Sept. 26.
This event brings together researchers from across the globe to collaborate, share strategies and seek new opportunities for the sustainable management of aquatic animals in changing ocean environments. The symposium will include oral presentations, speed talks, workshops and posters. Sessions will run concurrently and be organized by different themes. Themes will include conservation and management; movement ecology; freshwater and rivers; collaboration, outreach, and engagement; and more.
This year’s symposium will be co-located with the OCEANS 2024 conference, giving attendees the opportunity to network across sectors and disciplines, and to attend select OCEANS sessions of relevance.
