Studying the movements of snow crab in Cape Breton, NS

Earlier in 2015, fishers in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, engaged OTN to assist with a study of snow crab movements.

Fishers are exploring the population structure of snow crabs using OTN acoustic arrays in Area 22 and 23 of Cabot Strait (northern Nova Scotia), and the potential impacts on harvest quotas.
