OTN 2020 Symposium Postponed

Given the rapidly evolving situation around COVID-19 and the widespread disruptions that have occurred as a result (and with Dalhousie University prohibiting any events until at least June 1st), we will have to postpone the 2020 OTN Symposium until further notice.

We will be in touch with updated information and timelines as we closely monitor provincial and federal guidelines on how best to proceed.

Thank you for your understanding–we wish all of you safety and good health as we work together to mitigate the impacts of this virus.

Please continue to monitor your inbox and follow OTN on social media for updates related to the Symposium.

About the OTN Symposium

Since 2008, OTN has been creating a unique global research, infrastructure and data management platform that tightly integrates biological, oceanographic and social sciences; promotes technological innovation; and fosters collaborative partnerships across sectors and around the world.

OTN and its partners are tracking more than 230 species using 1800 receivers in key ocean and inland waters around the globe. The Symposium brings together researchers to collaborate, develop strategies and seek new opportunities for the sustainable management of aquatic animals in a changing ocean environment.
