Dr. Michael Dadswell is a Professor of Biology at Acadia
University, Wolfville, Nova Scotia. His research focuses on the life history
and migratory behaviour of fishes including Atlantic salmon, Atlantic sturgeon,
striped bass, and other anadromous and marine species. His work also involves
tidal power development in the Bay of Fundy and the imparts of turbines on
marine fishes and mammals. During past iterations, he has worked with scallop
biology and aquaculture, crustacean biology, taxonomy, and fisheries, and the
zoogeography of aquatic organisms.
