Eddy Carmack is a Research Scientist with Fisheries and Oceans
Canada. Despite his enormous age, he maintains an indefatigable interest in the
physical and biological dynamics of rivers, lakes, and oceans and the
consequences of natural and human systems to climate change. He leads the
International Polar Year program called Canada's Three Oceans (C3O).
