Duncan Bates

Duncan Bates is the OTN Technician and has been an integral part of the OTN technical team since 2008. He is involved in mooring and acoustic array design, equipment and materials testing, the deployment and recovery of receivers, and the collection of field data. Duncan trained as a biologist at Acadia University in Nova Scotia, Canada, where he received a BSc. Before joining OTN, Duncan ran his own scallop farm.
