Earlier this year, it was
announced that the First International Conference on Fish Telemetry (1st ICFT)
would be held June 12-18, 2011 in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan at Hokkaido
University. This conference follows from the Conference on Fish Telemetry that
has been held in Europe since 1995 on a biennial basis.
Chaired by Hiroshi Ueda, Professor at Hokkaido University, the conference will
showcase the most up-to-date research on fish telemetry and foster exchange
among scientists and technicians using telemetry in aquatic systems.
Additional information on the 1st ICFT can be found on the conference website.
